3/25/04
- Track Update - Construction is still going full force inside
and outside. We will have the parts shop open for the first
event at NCMP but the restaurant will probably not be completed
in time for the April 18th race. We will have alternate food
vendors if this is the case.
We
are still waiting on the grass to grow more in the parking
area so we have arranged for alternate parking until at least
April 18th. We have a large gravel area next to the grid for
pitting on the open practice days leading up to April 18th.
The
PA system will be in place for our first race but just like
everyone else we hate those annoying PA announcements screaming
in our ears. So to help that out we will have a small FM transmitter
on site and all PA announcements will go over the FM station
so bring your radio and not miss a single announcement!

- Karters can now pre-enter
online on a secure page for each of the 12 race KRA Series
races! All you have to do now is show up and race! This new
feature will save drivers the hassles of waiting in line on

of Karting series race during the 4th of July weekend. For

best estimates, these are only starting points -

- NCMP will be open for practice starting April 1st, practice
is $20.00 per driver per day. Airboxes on all 2 cycles/shifters
are mandatory at all times and RLV mufflers are mandatory
at all times for Briggs engines for those racing and practicing.
Practice times are 9:00 am until dusk everyday. Please contact

KRA would
like to thank everyone who took the poll for a second Junior
12-15 year old class. By a margin of 2 to 1 SSX Junior
Can is the winner. So for 2004 KRA will offer a second
SSX Junior Can for the 12-15 year olds, the class will
offer it's own practice and qualifying.
3/1/04
- The first three weekends of the KRA Series races will
be on the same track layout (long, counter clockwise) to allow
everyone to become comfortable with the track layout and setup.
When NCMP does open for practice (April 1st) we will have
that track layout used exclusively to allow everyone a chance
to become familiar with it. There will be alternate layouts
as the year goes, more information will be posted on that
later.
