11/7/12 - NCMP is officially closed for the winter. Thanks for another successful season and we will see everyone again in the Spring of 2013!
11/2/12 - The 2012 KRA Banquet will take place on Saturday, December 8th. We will be mailing out banquet forms on Monday.
10/29/12 - KRA will not be changing Yamaha Junior and Yamaha Senior engine rules or exhaust systems for 2013.
10/3/12 - The Final KRA Points have been posted with drops. Please double check your points and email or call us if there is a possible error. Don't wait until the banquet to tell us something needs fixed, it will be too late!
10/2/12 - Robopong News - All classes competing at the Robopong 200 weekend, Yamaha and TaG will be required to use the fuel sold by NCMP. Rotax will use a lower octane fuel but will also be required to use a fuel sold at NCMP. We will post a list of approved oils for Robopong and the Yamaha races this week, all oils will be available at NCMP, most likely one of the oils listed you already use (Rotax will use Motul Grand Prix 2T).
A clarification to the multi kart teams in regard to drivers. A driver who intends to drive more than one kart during the Robopong 200 is allowed to drive two karts maximum. Driver must designate their primary kart prior to the start of the event. All karts in the team must run a minimum of two drivers in each kart and the primary driver of one kart may only drive 55 laps maximum (1 stint) in the second kart during the race. The purpose of this rule is to prevent two drivers from being entered in two karts and simply pitting simultaneously and switching karts. This is not permitted and is grounds for disqualification from the event. Any questions please call Mark Sr. at 317-462-3413.
10/1/12 - NCMP will be closed on Tuesday, October 2nd due to rain. Starting Tuesday, October 16th, NCMP will be closed on Monday's and Tuesday's for the remainder of the season.
9/28/12 - Robopong News - You can download the Robopong 200 Race Weekend Schedule here.
9/22/12 - Robopong News - Preentries for Robopong and the Yamaha Money races was supposed to end on September 21st but we have not announced that properly so we are extending the preentry date to Friday September 28th at Midnight. After that date all entries will go up $50.00 each.
Even if you don't have all your team details worked out please enter before that date to avoid the penalty. We are working on a lot of new ways to market the Robopong this year to the general public including a radio blitz the week of the race and we are going to have a program available to spectators. So we need to know who is going to enter as soon as possible. See the Robopong page to enter.
9/20/12 - KRA UPDATE - Due to cold temps forecast for Sunday we will start practice at 8:30 am instead of 8am. Also, kid karts will run at the lunch break.
9/17/12 - This Sunday September 23rd is the next to last round of the 2012 Kart Racers of America season. Hard to believe the season is almost over! The online pre-entry form is up and going if you would like to preenter.
9/16/12 - Robopong News - The X-30 will run at 385lbs. at Robopong.
9/10/12 - Robopong News - All Rotax engines and carbs must comply to RMC rules. We have been very fortunate to have Don Mormeister join us as the head of tech for all Rotax competitors at this years Robopong 200. The Rotax will run at 375 lbs., the same as the Leopard.
8/28/12 - Robopong News - The Motori Seven engine will be subject to a light check as well as LAD gauge port height check.

8/21/12 - Attention Kid Karters - KRA will run the kid karts at the lunch break both days at this weekends Double Header (August 25-26), Kid Karters need to be signed in by Noon.
8/20/12 - We are saddened to report that Barb Lehmann lost her fight with cancer over the weekend. Barb's husband Rob and their daughter Liz are longtime KRA members. The calling is this Friday the 24th from 2pm to 5pm with a memorial service at 5pm at the Shepard United Methodist Church, 4700 Vance Ave. Ft Wayne, IN 46815. Please keep the Lehmann family in your thoughts during these difficult times. Click here for Barb's obituary.
8/9/12 - NCMP will run the track configuration for Sunday's KRA race on Saturday's practice day. The Racer's Grill will be open Saturday for lunch as well. The online pre-entry form is up and going if you would like to preenter.
7/27/12 - The 2012 Robopong 200 will take place at NCMP October 13th and 14th. This year's race will pay a record $10,000 to the winning team! New this year will be a $5,000 to win Yamaha Junior Sportsman and Yamaha Junior race! For more information on the junior races click here. You can enter the Robopong 200 and Junior races on the event page.
The Robopong will be limited to the first 70 teams that enter and the Junior races will be limited to 50 entries. Any entries received after Friday, September 21st will be charged a late fee.
7/19/12 - The race day schedule for the 2012 Race for Riley is available here!
7/11/12 - The 2012 Race for Riley Children's Hospital is coming up on Wednesday, July 25th! This is a great chance to race in front of a big crowd for a great cause. The entry fee for the racing kart classes are no charge again this year. You can enter online or you can print off the entry form and send it in.
We will be offering the following classes -
Yamaha Junior Sportsman
Yamaha Junior Can
Yamaha Senior/Masters
TaG Senior/Heavy
Clone Senior/Clone CIK
The Senior classes separated with a "/" will qualify and race on track together but will be scored separate.
Also if you want to enter to run the corporate karts, for your chance to race against John Andretti, you can find that form right here.
7/9/12 - Attention Kid Karters - KRA will run the kid karts at the lunch break at the July 15th race, Kid Karters need to be signed in by Noon.
NCMP will be closed all day Thursday July 12th.
KRA Series Race #9 is this Sunday, July 15th! The online pre-entry form is up and going if you would like to preenter.
7/2/12 - NCMP is closed on Wednesday July 4th for Independence Day.
6/27/12 - The Clone Endurance race scheduled for August 4th to 5th has been cancelled for this year, we will revisit the idea for 2013. The track will now be open for practice and rentals both days.

KRA Series Race #8 is this Sunday, July 1st! The online pre-entry form is up and going if you would like to preenter.
6/19/12 - OVKA (Ohio Valley Karting Association) will be running at NCMP this Sunday June 24th. Please see their website for more information on this weekends event. They do run Bridgestone tires.
6/12/12 - Starting Thursday June 14th through Saturday June 16th the Vintage Karting Association will be running and displaying karts at NCMP. Come on out and see a part of karting history!
6/6/12 - UPDATE! Due to the long track configuration that we will be running for KRA #7 on June 10 we are going to postpone the Kid Kart portion of the day. The Kid Kart race will be run as a double header for KRA #8 on July 1.
The Racer's Grill will be open from 11am to 3pm on Saturday June 9th.
6/4/12 - This coming Sunday is HALFWAY! Hard to believe but we are already at the halfway point of the KRA season. Round 7 of 14 is this Sunday, June 10th. The online pre-entry form is up and going if you would like to preenter.
5/29/12 - After a couple weeks off the KRA Series returns for Race #6 this Sunday, June 3rd! The online pre-entry form is up and going if you would like to preenter this Sunday's race online. Rental Karts available all weekend.
5/23/12 - NCMP will be open for practice and rentals on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm, Closed Sunday for the Indy 500 and open Memorial Day Monday from 10am to 6pm.
5/16/12 - With no races at NCMP this weekend, the track will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm for practice and rentals. Keep in mind that we do have corporate events that will close the track at times on Saturday and Sunday, times are above. Also kid karts will not practice on the big track this weekend but will run on the east track available in between rentals.
5/10/12 - Montgomery's Steakhouse (just south of the track's entrance on SR3) is offering 10% off any entree this Saturday for an early Mother's Day Special. You just have to show your pitpass arm band. Also Montgomery's is having a band "Southern Country" playing on their patio weather permitting.
5/7/12 - This weekend is a KRA Double Header with races on Saturday May 12th and Sunday May 13th. The online pre-entry form is up and going if you would like to preenter this weekends race online.
5/1/12 - With no races at NCMP this weekend, the track will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm for practice and rentals.
4/20/12 - The raceday schedule for KRA has been modified a little bit. You can download it here.
4/18/12 - We will run Motards on the East Track on Tuesday evenings this year. Motards will run from 3pm to 7pm. Cost for Motards is $30.
Also on Tuesday April 24th the main track will be unavailable all day for some necessary track repair. The East Track will be available until 3pm for rentals with Motards from 3pm to 7pm.
Sunday April 22nd is the third round of the 14 race KRA Series for 2012. The online pre-entry form is up and going if you would like to preenter the race online.
4/11/12 - Rental Karts will not be available on Saturday April 14th.
4/1/12 - KRA Race Postponed! Due to inclement weather track officials and competitors have decided to postpone today's KRA race (4/1) and reschedule the race for Saturday April 14th which will make that weekend a double header event.
3/26/12 - Racing season is here! This Sunday April 1st is the first round of the 14 race KRA Series for 2012. The online pre-entry form is up and going if you would like to preenter this weekends race online.
3/13/12 - UPDATE! Thanks to the spectacular weather we are having we have decided to open NCMP a day early! NCMP will officially open on Friday March 16th at 10am!
Once the track opens, NCMP will be open Tuesdays-Sundays from 10am to 7pm, closed on Mondays. Please see the hours page for additional information.
3/9/12 - NCMP will begin the 2012 karting season when we open for practice on Saturday March 17th!
As a reminder, you must have a Snell 2005 or newer helmet to practice at NCMP or to race KRA in 2012. Our insurance provider was nice enough to allow Snell 2000 helmets last year during the transition but everyone will be required to update to a Snell 2005 or newer helmet for 2012.
2/8/12 - Schedule Update, NCMP will host the SKUSA Midwest Pro Kart Challenge August 18-19.
2/2/12 - The 2012 KRA Membership form is now available online.
2/1/12 - Due to safety concerns, KRA will require all Clone engines to use the ARC billet aluminum flywheel. This will be the only flywheel allowed. There have been instances where the stock steel Clone flywheel have literally come apart and parts flying out. This is not a risk worth taking for competitors or spectators. The flywheel will not be included if a competitor choses to claim an engine.
1/19/12 - We have posted the tentative 2012 NCMP and KRA schedule. Please keep in mind that the schedule could change before the start of the season.
1/9/12 - The IAME X-30 engine is not legal for KRA until it is tested against the current Leopard engines to determine it's performance level. At NCMP, KRA will make every effort to protect the investment that competitors have already made with the current Leopard engines. The engine comparison testing will not take place any sooner than April of 2012.
1/6/12 - The TaG Heavy class and Spec TaG will be combined at KRA this year. They will be scored separate but will qualify and race on track at the same time.
1/4/12 - For the 2012 season KRA will be switching to YLC tires for all TaG classes and shifter.
KRA will be adding a second clone class for the 2012 season. The rules for the class will be as follows -
Tires - 450x5 front, 710x5 rear YLC
Seat - Must use sprint style kart seat
Bodywork - Must use any CIK approved european style bodywork. Rear plastic bumper is optional
Weight - 365 lbs
The current clone class will remain the same with NO changes. The new class will be called Clone CIK to differentiate it from the current clone class.
